When I designed this print, I really wanted to be sitting on a beach in Central America. I love warm terra-cotta colors, offset by cool, southwestern turquoise. I've been inspired lately by Pendleton wool blankets and wanted to design a print that would capture that warm feeling with my own twist.
tropical blue men's cycling kit
It's scientifically proven (ok, there's some debate on this claim) that the cooler the kit, the faster you go. This kit concept was inspired by some banana leaf wallpaper at my favorite tapas restaurant in Madison, Wisconsin. The leaves were created using an iPad and Procreate, then created as a flat in Illustrator.
blue ridge mountains track jacket
After several early, foggy runs in the Smokey Mountains, I really wanted a technical running jacket that would be both fashionable and allow me to be more visible. This jacket would be made with reflective materials on the top as well as a reflective waist and arm bands.
custom bontrager cycling shoes
These cycling shoes were created for Trek Bicycle using a minimalistic floral design. The design was created to compliment a simple black and white bike paint scheme while adding a feminine touch.
Bicycles of Land RUn 100
Created for The Radavist, after completion of the Land Run 100. One hundred miles of red Oklahoma clay, hills, and mud is grueling, but John and his beautiful ride made it through. Watercolor and ink.
2018 land run 100 poster
Land Run 100 has always been near and dear to my heart. One hundred miles of the dirtiest, stickiest gravel roads, plenty of hills, and the best community you could ask for, it is THE cycling event in Oklahoma. This year I had the opportunity to illustrate event posters, so I stuck with what I know best - watercolor, ink, and MUD.
